台灣森林覆蓋面積約佔全島之百分之六十,林木資源豐富,對於本土林木產業有極大之優勢與發展潛力。但木材市場對於本土林木的使用量在十幾年來始終不高,進而對森林保育、產業發展與國內市場造成不良影響。本研究提出枝構造組構系統,為使用中小徑木為建築材料之小木木構造系統,試圖以建築設計層面之角度來改善木材產業鏈之隱憂。

 

Taiwan's forest cover accounts for about sixty percent of the island. It is rich in forest resources, has great development potential and the advantages for local forest industry. However, the amount of usage of local timber market in ten years forest is very low, make the adversely affect to the forest conservation, industrial development and the domestic market. This research presents "twig structure" systems for use in small-diameter wood supplies small scale wood construction system, trying to use architectural design view to improve the shrinking of domestic timber market.

本研究之操作方法為使用疏伐木木材之尺寸及性質作為操作依據,藉以探討枝構造組構系統在不同空間形態之組構方法與榫卯形式,嘗試挑戰枝構造組構系統在建築使用上的各種靈活性。

 

Operation of this research is to use the size and nature of the thinning timber harvesting as an operating basis, in order to explore the "twig structure" fabric system in space form the fabric of the different methods and tenon form, try to challenge the "twig structure" fabric is flexibility using on all kind of building form.

本研究之操作方法為使用疏伐木木材之尺寸及性質作為操作依據,藉以探討枝構造組構系統在不同空間形態之組構方法與榫卯形式,嘗試挑戰枝構造組構系統在建築使用上的各種靈活性。
