Third industrial revolution (3IR), The age of MAKER. Unlike 1IR and 2IR,customization is the important parti of 3IR. Person that is factory. Each person could produce their own products.
In the 1IR and 2IR ,beacuse of the low production cost and quick manufacture,many cement boxes were built in Taiwan.Now, most of these old buildings have been unuseful even idle and discarded.
I think Icon 3IR is the "device."It is the effective device for nature.
I proposed the concept of "urban battery".Each "battery" could provide the function that compliance with the site condition and bring the benefit.
Additional building on the rooftop is the common phenomenon in Taiwan. I believe that these additional structures have the opportunity to become the "urban battery", so I want to make these structures "transform."
"Folding" is the idea of my operation.
In response to the concept of Maker, people could "fold" their own ecology cycle system by using CNC or laser cutting .
The device folded by people is constituted by components(light, wind, water, soil, plants and other natural factors).By investigating the link between the various elements ,people could make up the ecological cycle systems.
